Always consistent home cooked food. Try the open roast beef sandwich or mamas fried chicken. Both are delicious
Food was good. Warm inside dining room. Service good. Chairs at tables were uncomfortable. Probably take food to go next time.
My wife and I decided to stop here since we hadn't been it in awhile. So glad we did! Food was exceptional and service was spot-on. Well worth stopping in, if only for a fabulous dessert!
Just a little diner with a large menu. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is basic diner food but usually pretty good. It feels a little dingy and could be a tad cleaner. It's always been busy when we go so they're doing something right.
We were very happy with our service and food. The atmosphere was great and clean. My husband loved the catfish, eggs, and grits. I got the Eggs Benedict and home fries. The home fries where great, cooked with onions and peppers and seasoned well
Came here looking for a breakfast/lunch place and of course I searched YELP for the best place for that. HWY 441 Diner is located in a strip mall, plenty of parking out front with a couple of tables in front of the diner. Inside is decorated just like any diner you would expect. Both table & booth seating available. Lunch is available after 10 AM. I arrived just before 10 AM and I as able to order the Triple Decker (Club Sandwich) and the Two Egg breakfast special. Food good and friendly service. This is a little hole in the wall place and could be missed if your not looking for it. However if you are wanting a diner experience then visit. Extensive menu available with Burgers, Pizza, Salad, Subs and Pasta just to give you an idea.
Hwy. 441 Diner is a 50's themed diner located in a shopping plaza that has definitely seen better days. The service here, however, is friendly and upbeat and the food is typical diner fare. I mean this in a complimentary way. I love diners and have created some wonderful memories with some amazing people while we enjoyed a meal in a diner. Hwy. 441 Diner is a good stop if you are in the Tavares, Florida and wanting a decent meal. Overall, I will give it four stars and I would give it my recommendation.
